Dalai Lama's nephew grew into role as activist (AP)

Over time, acquaintances say, Norbu's sense of entitlement turned into an embrace of the work of the exiled Tibetan spiritual leader and his own father, as Norbu walked thousands of miles to promote awareness of Tibet's struggle for independence from China.
