Judge hearing arguments on ex-Ill. Gov. Ryan (AP)
AP - The federal government's definition of bribery is so broad, an attorney for imprisoned former Illinois Gov. George Ryan argued Monday, that even if a respected religious figure such as Mother Teresa had held Illinois' highest office, she could have been the target of such allegations.
